To access a Web Disk using Mac OS X, follow these steps:
- From the Finder, click the Go menu, and then click Connect to Server.
- In the Server address text box, type one of the following URLs:
- To connect to the Web Disk using an unencrypted (cleartext) connection, use the following URL:
http://example.com:2077
Replaceexample.com
with your web site's domain name. Copy the modified URL and paste it into the text box. - To connect to the Web Disk using an encrypted (SSL) connection, use the following URL:
https://example.com:2078
Replaceexample.com
with the domain name that your web site uses for SSL connections. Copy the modified URL and paste it into the text box.
- To connect to the Web Disk using an unencrypted (cleartext) connection, use the following URL:
- Click Connect.
- Type the username and password for the Web Disk account.
- To avoid retyping your username and password when you access the Web Disk, select the Remember this password in my keychain check box.
- Click Connect. The Web Disk home directory will appear.
