How to manage e-mail accounts in cPanel

To create an email account in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel by following the guide in Accessing cPanel.
  2. Open the Email Accounts tool.
  3. Click on "Create".
  4. Select the domain where you want to create the email account.
  5. Enter a new email address in the Username text box.
  6. Choose a password option: set a password now or generate a random one.
  7. Optionally, you can edit settings such as mailbox quota and folder creation.
  8. Select the option to send a welcome email with client configuration instructions.
  9. Choose whether to stay on the page or create another email account.
  10. Click "Create" to create the account.

To modify an email account in cPanel, follow these steps:

  2. Open the Email Accounts tool.
  3. Locate the account you want to modify and click "Manage".
  4. To access webmail, click "Check Email".
  5. To change the account's password, enter the new password in the "New Password" text box.
  6. To change the account's quota, allocate the storage allowed in the "Allocated Storage Space" list box.
  7. To set account restrictions or change plus addressing options, select the desired settings.
  8. Click "Update Email Settings" to save the changes.

To delete an email account in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Open the Email Accounts tool.
  3. Locate the email account you want to delete and click "Manage".
  4. Scroll down to the "DELETE EMAIL ACCOUNT" section.
  5. Click "Delete Email Account" and confirm the deletion.

Remember to download any important emails before deleting an account, as the information will be unrecoverable once deleted.
