Managing e-mail deliverability settings

To manage DKIM, SPF, and Reverse DNS settings in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Open the Email Deliverability tool.  Go to the Tools page and click on the Email Deliverability icon:                                              Email Deliverability in the Email section.
  3. Locate the domain you want to manage and click on the "Manage" button.

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)

DKIM is used to verify the authenticity of incoming email messages and ensure they haven't been altered during transit. To manage DKIM settings:

  1. Under DKIM, you can view the name/value pair for the DKIM DNS entry.

Sender Policy Framework (SPF)

SPF helps prevent spammers from forging messages that appear to be from your domain. To manage SPF settings:

  1. Under SPF, you can view and modify the name/value pair for the SPF DNS entry.

Reverse DNS (PTR records)

Reverse DNS (PTR) records enable resolving IP addresses to domain names and help reduce spam. To manage reverse DNS settings:

  1. Under REVERSE DNS (PTR), you can view the name/value pair for the PTR record.

By managing these settings, you can improve your email deliverability and reduce the chances of your emails being marked as spam.
